Networking Across the State

Networking helps develop and improve your skill set, stay on top of the latest trends in your field, meet prospective mentors, partners, and clients, and gain access to the necessary resources that will help your career development.

InterHab offers an added value to your membership and assists in fostering the exchange of information and ideas among individuals and groups that share common interests through our resource networks. Throughout the past five decades, InterHab resource networks have been key in the development of I/DD strategy across the state of Kansas, not to mention an incredible resource for I/DD employees of all types.

If you’re an InterHab member, joining a group is easy! Just contact Janet – [email protected] to be added to the group you’d like to participate in and she will connect you with the group leaders who will share necessary meeting information for the group. As the I/DD world changes, we provide the flexibility to ensure there is a group to meet the current needs of our members and have the added ability to add/remove groups as needed.

Our current groups include:

  • Community Service Coordination Work Group
  • Training Resource Network
  • KanCare Transition Team
  • Ad Hoc Membership
  • Power Up! Conference Committee
  • Federal Task Force
  • CDDO Resource Network
  • Communications Resource Network
  • Employment Resource Network
  • Human Resource Network
  • Financial Resource Network
  • Targeted Case Management Resource Network
